About Pathstones
Pathstones Counseling Center was born from the prayers, hard work, and deep compassion of the Alpine Church of Christ in Longview, Texas. What began as a heartfelt desire to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of the community has grown into an independent nonprofit Christian counseling center, dedicated to serving individuals and families throughout the greater Longview area.
Our mission is rooted in the words of Jesus: to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind—and to love others as ourselves. At Pathstones, we seek to live out that calling by walking alongside those who are hurting, offering them a safe place to find healing, hope, and renewed strength.
Guided by Faith, Grounded in Respect
We begin each day by asking for God’s guidance in our work, striving to glorify Him by helping clients grow toward emotional and spiritual wholeness. We respect the personal beliefs of every individual who walks through our doors.
We choose to invite, not invade. Our goal is to support, not pressure—always honoring the dignity and journey of each person.

A Brief History
Born from the prayers, hard work, and dedication of the Alpine Church of Christ in Longview, TX, Pathstones Counseling Center was created as an independent nonprofit Christian counseling center seeking to serve those who are hurting in the greater Longview area.
At Pathstones, we ask God’s guidance in helping us each day to better understand what Jesus meant when he told us to love God totally and love others as we love ourselves. We hope to glorify God by providing counseling which will empower our clients, as well as ourselves, to become a little more like Him each day. We choose to respect a client’s personal beliefs. We choose to invite, not invade.

Our Fees
The price for professional counseling in this area can easily cost $80 to $100 per session or more. Unfortunately, many of us cannot afford this price. As part of our mission to help anyone in need, Pathstones only asks that our clients pay according to a very affordable sliding scale that is based on household income.
